Dining & Entertainment: TURNING TABLES BYLINE: JENNIFER BRETT Upscale restaurant comes to the Forum Champagne flowed and the lavishly attired crowd nibbled on caramelized scallops and Sevruga caviar on a recent Saturday night in Norcross. The occasion: the grand opening of grace 17> 20, a new fine-dining restaurant in the Forum shopping center on Peachtree Parkway. Managing partner Barbara Di James, chef Charles Schwab and sous chef John Leichty all have culinary degrees and experience in high-profile restaurants in the area -- Di James at Sia's, Schwab at Bacchanalia, and Leichty at Garrison's. With its hardwood floors, antique accents and earth-tone decor, the restaurant seems a good fit for the upscale Forum, where shoppers laden with bags from J. Jill -- or perhaps emerging from a facial at Spa Sydell -- can look forward to the contemporary American cuisine on grace's menu. Lunch entrees range from $9 to $16. Dinner entrees range from $16 to $36. The restaurant, which features a courtyard and two private dining rooms, is open Monday through Saturday for lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and for dinner from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., It is closed Sundays but is available for private events. Information: 678-421-1720, www.grace1720.com. CLOSED: The Brooklyn Cafe's location at 5165 PeachtreeParkway (the Forum). OPEN: Abuela's Mexican Kitchen, 960 Scales Road in Suwanee (in the Old Suwanee Village Shopping Center off McGinnis Ferry Road). Cafeteria-style, casual dining. Hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day but Sunday. 678-541-0446. COMING: The Grape wine bar and shop to the Forum shopping center in Norcross in November as part of an expansion from original location in Vinings. DINING NEWS & RESTAURANT EVENTS IN GWINNETT.
